Keegan Butcher-Baker (Zack Morris) has been through a lot over the past couple of months in EastEnders, but there’s another devastating blow on the horizon for the young man in the coming episodes, as he discovers that the food van that he and Iqra Ahmed (Priya Davdra) manage has been vandalised.
Keegan has been determined to get his business off the ground — something which he’s managed to succeed at with some input from partner Iqra — but he’s been distracted in recent weeks, after he was arrested for a crime which he didn’t commit.
In spite of him being innocent, however, he was unable to get Jack (Scott Maslen) to believe him — that is, until the video evidence from a witness proved he was wrongfully arrested.
In episodes broadcast earlier this week, Jack apologised to Keegan and showed him the footage, but the young lad later took it upon himself to post the clip online — something which causes more conflict between he and Jack during the week ahead.
However, in the subsequent week, there’s more devastation for Keegan, as his beloved food van is vandalised.
What’s more, he later reveals to Iqra and Tiffany (Maisie Smith) that he doesn’t have insurance.
Is Keegan and Iqra’s joint venture over before it even really began?
Will there be anything that Keegan can do?
EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday May 26 at 7:30pm on BBC One.
