Britain’s Got Talent viewers are convinced that one particular dance group predicted the coronavirus outbreak before it happened.
Urban dance troupe aptly called the Immortals took to the stage on Saturday night’s BGT with their stunning, yet scary performance dressed as modern-day vampires.
And despite their audition airing on Saturday, it would have been filmed months in advance.
The group from Barcelona crept on to the stage wearing black masks to a creepy version of the nursery rhyme Incy Wincy Spider.
And because of this BGT fans think the dancers predicted the Covid-19 pandemic.
Taking to Twitter one viewer said: ‘That dance act knew coronavirus as going to happen in a couple of months.’
Another commented: ‘There’s an irony in The Immortals wearing face masks BEFORE the Coronavirus pandemic.’
One added: ‘Face masks.. did they know about Covid 19 before anyone else..??????’
The first confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK were in January, and shortly after one man in Brighton was diagnosed with the virus.
The first death in the UK came at the beginning of March, and by the end of the month, the entire country went into lockdown.
Britain’s Got Talent returns on Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
