Kylian Mbappe says he’s wary of the threat Marcus Rashford will pose against his Paris Saint-Germain side on Tuesday night because Paul Pogba constantly raves about the ‘special’ Manchester United forward.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side return to Paris for the first time since their famous last-16 win at the Parc des Princes in 2019, which effectively sealed the Norwegian’s appointment as full-time manager at the Theatre of Dreams.

Rashford scored an injury-time penalty in the French capital to seal a 3-1 win in Paris and to overturn a 2-0 defeat in the first leg at Old Trafford.

PSG have since reached the Champions League final but their dream of winning the trophy goes on and they’ll be hoping to top a tough group consisting of United and RB Leipzig in order to boost their chances.

Rashford and co. will be seeking all three points and Mbappe says he’s all too aware of the forward’s threat because he’s been warned by international team-mate Pogba.

‘He’s one of the most dangerous forward players in England,’ said Mbappe.

Paul Pogba has spoken about how special he is and he doesn’t talk about players in such a way often.

‘When you take a penalty in that situation, how much practice you have put on the training ground doesn’t matter. It’s about confidence and he’s a player who plays with so much confidence.’

United will be without Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly, Jesse Lingard and Edinson Cavani after the quartet failed to travel to France.

Cavani had hoped to make his debut for the club against his former employers but he’s had just two training sessions with the group and is not yet fit enough to feature.

Axel Tuanzebe could feature for the first time in 2020 in Bailly and Maguire’s absence.
