Nathan Fillion Talks About His Career In Film And Television During Comic-Con @ Home

Nathan Fillion is opening up about his time in film and television.

The Canadian born actor talked about his long-standing career during Sunday’s Comic-Con @ Home, including his most popular roles in “Firefly”, “Castle”, and “The Rookie”.

“‘Firefly’ has been my favourite job I have ever had since ‘The Rookie,'” Fillion said.

“It’s just grown over time,” said special guest and Fillion’s “Firefly” co-star Alan Tudyk.

“You have people who experienced it the first time who are sharing it with their children,” added yet another special guest and ‘Firefly’ actress Gina Torres.

Other guests during Fillion’s talk include Jon Huertas (“Castle”), Joss Whedon, Mekia Cox (“The Rookie”), Molly Quinn (“Castle”), and Seamus Dever (“Castle”).

“Because you were such a leader and teacher, it was very easy to come in and ask questions and not feel pressure to know more than I did,” Quinn told Fillion.

ABC recently announced “The Rookie” will be coming back for a third season, however, it has not yet set a release date. According to ABC President Karey Burke in an interview with Deadlinethe show’s newest season will address issues of police brutality in the U.S..
