Kanye West has begged for Kim Kardashian’s forgiveness on Twitter, apologising for ‘going public’ with their private life.

The Yeezus rapper, 43, made headlines earlier this month when he claimed they were planning to abort eldest daughter North, while breaking down in tears at his first Presidential rally in South Carolina.

He later took aim at the mum-of-four and her family in a now-deleted Twitter tirade, claiming that he wanted to divorce her after she allegedly met with Meek Mill at the Waldorf Hotel.

As well as this, he branded mother-in-law Kris Jenner a white supremacist.

However, taking to Twitter once more, Ye has now apologised for his behaviour, and thanked the 39-year-old for sticking by him.

‘I would like to apologise to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter,’ he penned.

‘I did not cover her like  she has covered me.

‘To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me.’

Kanye made headlines earlier this month after announcing he was running for President of the US in the upcoming 2020 election.

Appearing at his first rally, he later broke down in tears while discussing abortion, claiming himself and Kim considered aborting their eldest daughter, North.

Discussing Planned Parenthood and abortion with the crowd, he alleged they considered not going ahead with the pregnancy when the reality TV star was expecting North, now seven, in 2012.

‘My mum saved my life. My Dad wanted to abort me… My mum saved my life, there would have been no Kanye West because my dad was too busy,’ he told the audience, becoming visibly emotional.

‘I almost killed my daughter.’

In a string of worrying tweets shared after his appearance, Ye also claimed that Kim was ‘out of line’ when she met rapper Meek Mill at the Waldorf Hotel to discuss prison reform – and said he had been trying to divorce her ever since.

Kim later broke her silence over his posts, acknowledging that Kanye is having a bi-polar episode in a lengthy statement on social media.

The Skims owner asked for ‘compassion’ for her husband as she opened up about his mental health battles for the first time.

‘I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health,’  she began.

‘Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behaviour know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor.

‘People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgemental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.

‘He is a brilliant but complicated person who on top of the pressure being being an artist and a black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother, and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bi-polar disorder.

‘We as a society talk about giving grace to the issue of mental health as a whole, however we should also give it to the individuals who are living with in times when they need it the most.’

She ended the statement by asking for ‘compassion and empathy’ for her family.

After being friends for years, Kim and Kanye started dating back in 2012, and welcomed their first daughter together the following year.

They announced their engagement in October, 2013, and tied the knot in a lavish wedding in 2014.

The couple introduced son Saint a year later, and before adding to their brood with daughter Chicago – in 2018 – and baby boy Psalm – in 2019 – both born via a surrogate.
