Rick and Morty’s Sarah Chalke is keeping schtum about what’s going on with Beth this season – but has promised us that whatever it is, it’s worth the wait.

The actress has given her voice to Morty’s mum for the past four seasons, and at the end of season three was seen reuniting with her deadbeat husband, Jerry (Chris Parnell).

Now season four is back in full scha-wing, it seems like Beth might have some major moments coming up for her – and Sarah promised whatever it is is going to be amazing.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, Sarah teased: ‘I feel like this season, like what you guys are about to see is some of my favorite stuff, the rest of season 4b. I think it’s some, just in general, some of my favorite episodes.’

‘They’re so creative. It’s so funny. I can’t believe just the bottomless supply of creativity that come out of Dan [Harmon] and Justin [Roiland’s, the showrunners’] brains,’ she said. ‘You know, I think that’s what people are really signing up for when they watch Rick and Morty.’

‘We get excited when we get a new script in our inboxes,’ Sarah added. ‘You have no idea what’s gonna happen and they are two of the quickest, funniest people I’ve worked with.’

So what exactly are we expecting for the upcoming episodes (which includes a seemingly Jerry-centric finale with Star Wars reference: Star Mort Rickturn of the Jerri)?

‘I’m not allowed to [say!],’ she teased. ‘I’m under strict, strict orders not to say anything!’

‘But I can say, I heard the animator talking about this, how you can really see the show the it’s the most ambitious season animation-wise,’ she added.

Hmm… I guess we’ll take that while we have it.

Rick And Morty airs Thursdays at 9pm on E4.
