EastEnders star Lacey Turner shared a sweet snap of her daughter Dusty splashing around a rainbow paddling pool with their dog Ned.

The actress, 32, took to Instagram to show the 10-month-old having the time of her life in the sunshine of their back garden.

Lacey – who portrays Stacey Fowler in the long-running BBC serial drama – wrote: ‘My đŸŒˆ baby.’

A ‘rainbow baby’ is a term used for a baby born after a miscarriage or stillbirth.

The soap star suffered two miscarriages before welcoming Dusty Violet into the world with husband Matt Kay last year.

She recently appeared on Loose Women on 27 February and spoke about the heartbreaking times both herself and her other half endured.

‘The first time we fell pregnant, I thought, “Oh, this is so exciting,” and then it was just gone at seven weeks – and it was such a massive shock,’ she explained: ‘I quite naively thought, “I’m going to have a baby.”’

The mum-of-one went onto say how it was a relief she hadn’t told anyone about her pregnancy, explaining: ‘It’s such an awkward thing to tell people, I don’t want them to feel uncomfortable.’

However, it left the star absolutely devastated, as she added: ‘I felt so heartbroken, but I buried it under the rug and Googled it – they say it’s common, so I thought next time we would be fine.

‘That’s your baby from day one, and you think you’ll get to hold it and bring it home.’

Matt and Lacey tried again and fell pregnant for a second time, but lost the baby at seven weeks.

The pair fell pregnant with Dusty and although Lacey feared she’d lose another baby, she ended up having an ‘unbelievable birth.’

The soap star is currently on maternity leave, which meant Stacey was written out of EastEnders late last year, as the character found herself embroiled in a terrifying situation when she clobbered Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) over the head and left him for dead.
