The Masked Singer left fans shocked as the Unicorn’s identity was finally revealed.
Since the show began at the start of January, viewers have been convinced that John Barrowman was the celebrity behind the mask.
Even the Torchwood star himself fueled the speculation by telling Metro.co.uk that the Unicorn makes him ‘horny’.
However, in Saturday night’s episode, the mystery was finally solved, as the Scissor Sisters’ frontman Jake Shears appeared from underneath the costume.
That’s right, the popular programme had managed to fool us all and fans couldn’t help but express their confusion on social media.
‘Unicorn not being John Barrowman has made me question everything I thought I knew,’ one wrote on Twitter as another added: ‘Oh snap! He had us fooled for weeks thinking he was @JohnBarrowman Well played.’
Someone else said: ‘I am THE worst at guessing who #TheMaskedSinger is I swear I was LEGIT CONVINCED unicorn was John Barrowman.’
And others were feeling the same: ‘When did they switch John Barrowman out for Jake Shears? I was CONVINCED!’
Kelly and Sharon Osbourne were appearing on the show as guest judges and basically blew the Unicorn’s cover following his VT.

‘Ozzy Osbourne once saw me in nothing but my birthday suit, tonight I’m not horsing around,’ the contestant said before performing his song.
But Kelly knew exactly who her dad had seen naked, as she quipped: ‘I think I know who you are.
‘Jake Shears from the Scissor Sisters as I know my dad has seen him naked. It was Elton’s stag party.’
After being unmasked, Jake confirmed: ‘I was at Elton’s stag do, it was a good time, it was really fun!’
The 41-year-old and Elton go way back, seeing them perform I Don’t Feel Like Dancing together and even work on a musical.
The Masked Singer continues Saturday at 7pm on ITV.
